Bloomington Minnesota

 

Well we made the non-stop flight and made it here in a record time of just over three hours,

Left at 1:50 our time and got here at 5:00, or 7:00 for us now.    Got to our hotel and there is an Outback connected to the lobby.  Parmesan chicken and green beans.  My favorite.  No, we didn't eat the whole onion, but since we skipped lunch it was a good idea at the time.    Very convenient, but by the time we sat down to eat, it was 8:00 Minnesota time.  Back in the room now.  Its 10:30 here and we are wide awake.  Hotel is near airport so not a safe place to explore  at night.  We are headed to the  Mall of America Tomorrow, and then taking the light rail into downtown Minneapolis.   Since we were not even supposed to leave San Francisco until 11;00 tonight and fly all night to Chicago and then catch a plane from Chicago to Minneapolis, I think we are ahead of the game.  There was only 1 non-stop flight on United per day, and we made it!!!   Halleluiah.  We will get a good night sleep tonight instead of sleeping sitting up on a plane.  Good start to our adventure so far.  But please don't mention the tattoo lady to Tom.  I think he might have nightmares tonight....
