Greetings from Edmonton

Read the Thursday May 22 below post firsts.

We today, we headed toward our Cousin's house in Edmonton.
We left the Proventil Park and headed to Vegreville to see the largest Pysanka (a Ukrainian Easter Egg).  Really??
See it in the back ground.     It was for real.
Qutie a big deal in the area.   Another largest thing I can cross off my list   (after looking at that horse in the previous post, I think there might be one more largest thing I can cross off too)

Tom got to sit in a real Caboose, and he even bought a hat and I bought Ukrainian Perogies.

We loved this old house.   Wonder what the story is behind it, but there is no one around for miles to ask.   Too bad.   Another Stephen King moment

We went towards Elk Island and looked for Bison and Elk.

Saw some Bison, and one Elk, but could not get the elk.

Had a nice lunch by a beautiful lake in Elk Park

After arriving in the Edmonton area during rush hour on a Friday, it took us about 1 1/2 hours to go abut 23 miles.   It was crazy, but we arrived and this is my Cousin Ben and his beautiful daughter Sara, who had just had her practice hair done for her upcoming 9th grade school dance.  Yes she is only 14 and so pretty.

We had bar-b-q steak, corn, potatoes and a salad for dinner, finished off a bottle of wine and just enjoyed a nice visit    They have very good WiFi, as you can see.  I was able to Skype my dad and Jill, but could not get a hold of anyone else  Sorry

It will probably be spotty over the next week or so,, but I will do what I can.   Thanks for following the blog.  We are still having the Adventure of a Lifetime.

Bye for now  Notice Tom's new hat???
